Job Description: | Job Title: WSH Coordinator
Job Descriptions:
-Identify the hazards and evaluate the risk associated with hazards and to implement the required practicable measures to minimize hazards
-Recommend occupier reasonably practicable measures to eliminate the hazards and minimize the risk to acceptable level
-Assist occupier to implement the practicable measures to minimize hazards
-To inspect and discuss findings on the equipment or procedures that may cause risk of bodily injury to workers working within the premises and advise on their remedial actions
-To investigate any incidents I accidents and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence
-To assist the management in environmental promotion to promote awareness among workers by organising environmental campaigns, training courses, competitions etc
-Continuous monitoring and implementing in-house rules and regulations and monitor safe work procedures
-To promote safety programs, safety awareness, safety rewards and to maintain good interpersonal skills at all levels
-Familiar with execution of Permit To Work systems and Requirements
-Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior
Job Requirements:
-Possess WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health � Level B
-Having Oil/Petrochemical for Supervisors certificate or Supervise WSH in Process Plant will be an advantage
-Familiar with WSH Act
-Well-versed in English for written and spoken
-Computer knowledge in microsoft office, words, excel, power point etc
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 0800hrs to 1700hrs (to be confirm later during the interview)
Salary:
- $2800 to $3500 onwards
