Requirement:
- Must have electrical (cabling) experience in Singapore construction sector
- Must be physically fit, need to carry heavy equipment (70-80kg, two people carry) up to the rooftop
- Must have BCA Skill certificate
- Must not be afraid of heights because work are mostly on rooftops
- Must be able to work under the hot sun with no shade because on rooftops
- Must be proactive and responsible
- Must be willing to work hard and willing to learn
- Must have prior working experience, preferably in laborious roles as well
- Must be able to understand English instructions. This is important because there are no supervisors to lead in the beginning. Must understand Project Manager�s verbal instruction.
- Having electrical background would be advantageous because sometimes need to pull big electrical cables inside the cable trunking
- Having BCSS would be advantageous
Work Duties:
- Perform cable installation, pulling, termination and connection works. This is NOT electrical wiring, but cable wiring. The key is to know how to connect the electricity source to the solar panels to get them to work, i.e. connect cable from an electrical panel like Low Voltage Switch Board (LVSB), Motor Control Center (MCC) and Distribution Board (DB) boxes as sources, to the rooftop equipment.
- Carry equipment to work locations (mostly rooftops) for installation
- Assemble the equipment (solar panels) using bolts and nuts
- Mount the assembled equipment on the mounting boards
- Lie on the floor and crawl under the panel base to do work sometimes
- Other ad-hoc tasks
Working days / hours: 6 days a week / 830am - 530pm
