Job Description: | Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (General)
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably specializing in electrical Engineering in Construction industry.
- Possess the Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course
- Proficient in MS Office (Project/Word), Powerpoint, AutoCAD, Visio, etc
- Must be eloquent, independent and self-motivated.
- Able to lead workers and supervise Sub-contractors / supplier.
- Familiar with project supervision.
- Knowledge of electrical contracting and ability to draw electrical single line diagram
- Able to work under tight schedule.
Work Duties:
- Supervise and monitor the Electrical Installation Work for Electrical Panel Installation such as LVSB, MCC, DB and UPS Panel etc.
- Monitoring and supervise workers for cable support system installation work, cable pulling work and termination work.
- Assist to do all the Electrical testing such as cable continuity and insulation test, Loop Impedance test , earth pit resistance test and Panel SAT test
- Check and ensure that all the installations are carried out as per single line drawing.
- To prepare red mark drawing for any modification work done as per site condition and report to Engineer for As-Built drawing submission
- To assist the Engineer to prepare inspection request form and follow the inspection for all electrical installation work and testing.
- Prepare shop-drawings and follow-up subsequent comments returned by Consultant and arrange for re-submission.
- Attend project safety meeting and site co-ordination meeting.
- Arrangement of work according to Main Contractor work program.
- Schedule and arrange site access arrangement for delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor materials delivery schedule.
- Monitor and control project costs.
- Implement variation work upon receiving new drawings or site verbal for submission for claims.
- Conduct follow up site testing.
- Commissioning of project equipment.
- Prepare as-built drawings and necessary documents
- Conduct risk assessment for projects.
- Carry out duties in accordance with QEHS policy, procedures and work instructions.
- Be aware of the legal and other requirements and significant environment aspects/impacts (EAI) and occupational safety and health hazard/risks associated with their work activities.
- Any other ad-hoc duties
Working Days / Hours: Mon - Fri / 830am - 530pm; Sat: 830am - 1230pm
