Requirements:
- Must possess Singapore Nursing Board license (valid or expired)
- Must be able to speak English
- Must have minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience
- Must be able to attend interview via WhatsApp conference call
- Must be flexible, not calculative, and OK to work both day and night shifts
- Must be physically strong to carry or support the elderly
- Must have good attitude, willing to work hard, patient, kind, caring and good tempered
Duties:
- Maintain nursing documentation and medical record of residents daily, in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure all nursing care activities and procedures carried out by the Home adhere to the principles of infection control.
- Supervise the junior nurses, nursing aides and all health attendants/ healthcare assistants in carrying out their daily duties.
- Identify problems related to illness and decline in functional, cognitive abilities and advocate early medical attention.
- Be familiar with all aspects of nursing care and emergency evacuation procedures so as to react promptly on emergencies.
- Maintain systematic inventory control of drugs in wards and other assets required in order to achieve optimal utilization and safe storage.
- Prepare medical review of residents and to carry out the treatment as prescribed by the resident doctor.
- Notify the Nurse Manager on issues that require their attention.
