Description: | My mother’s WhatsApp with the number +65 92285862 has been hacked. Please ignore any calls or messages impersonating anyone, even if they say they are from the police.
It was a person who impersonated as a police officer who called my mother via WhatsApp call and asked her for personal details such as IC number and bank accounts. When she refused to give him, he threatened her and asked her to give the OTP to him. Right after that, she could not access WhatsApp anymore. She has a lot of burmese contacts for her WhatsApp so we wanted to use this platform to warn our Burmese to not respond to any WhatsApp message or calls from this number and also to not give any PERSONAL DETAILS INCLUDING ONE TIME PASSWORD and VERIFICATION CODES. Don’t show any IC or identification cards.
